3xpo
Producer, writer, engineer and DJ. Co-founder of Cake Productions, operator of Watts Studio.
A Philadelphia music producer, composer, engineer and DJ, 3xpo grew up around his father’s gospel band and was making beats by 12. He came up through hip-hop, sharing bills with DJ Premier, Mobb Deep, The Pharcyde and Griselda, and that foundation still runs under everything he makes: soulful melodies and drums with weight.
Alongside longtime partner Lotits, he produced and engineered Suzanne Sheer’s albums The Blue Hour (2022) and Voices (2026), building cinematic dream pop and alt-R&B around the intimacy of her songwriting and the power of her voice. The pair step out front as 3xplotits, bass music and trip-hop brought to life on drum machines, turntables and synths. From Watts Studio, home of their label Cake Productions, he works with artists across pop, hip-hop, indie and electronic.
As a composer, he scores commercials for national brands and short films, and his songwriting has landed with the Philadelphia Eagles and in a Sixers playoff campaign that earned a Clio Sports shortlist. An amalgamation of sounds and textures falls into orbit around a clear emotional center, giving an artist’s vision or a brand’s story its own musical identity, and an audience a world to step into.
